The Virtue of Peace is about a man named Sebastian who retreats to his sister’s quiet countryside home while she is out of town following the sudden death of a close friend. Immersed in the stillness of nature, he drifts through moments of observation and solitude while avoiding emotional confrontation. As voicemails and a phone call from a concerned loved one reach him, Sebastian reveals the truth: he is revisiting the road where the fatal accident occurred. Despite the weight of grief, he remains distant, finding a strange comfort in the beauty of the world around him.
